SHRM-LI exists to advance the HR profession by developing and advancing the HR Professional. 

About Us or Our Purpose:

As the Voice of HR on Long Island, SHRM-LI provides:

  •  cutting edge foundational and experiential development through educational programs delivered by subject matter experts and recognized leaders and researchers 
  • late breaking information on HR’s dynamic legal landscape
  • contemporary tools and resources in a broad variety of HR and Business topics so that our members can build a diverse and thorough inventory of contemporary knowledge and competencies that will help their organizations grow and prosper
  • a diverse, inclusive, and visible volunteer leadership that promotes networking and professional development resources for a Membership base of ~1,700 professional, general, and associate Members.

 

SHRM-LI is governed by an Executive Board and propelled by an impressive group of forward-thinking and committed individuals that serve as Volunteer Chapter Leaders and Volunteer Committee Members.
